We went to Utah for Christmas this year. We usually don't go two years in a row, but my brother Dan was there this year, and I hadn't seen him in 3 1/2 years, not since my brother Peter's wedding. We had an uneventful drive out there, a rocky attempt at church the next day, and a freezing visit to Temple Square that night. I think there were lots of lights, but I don't really know. I was too busy keeping Addie bundled up and listen to Chloe beg to go home. I was starting to get a little worried that we were not going to be able to spend any time outside but the next day we brought out . . .
The Snowballer!
Eden gave us these for Christmas before we left for Utah. At first we thought, Well, those are kind of silly. You don't need a tool to make snowballs. And then we busted them out just for fun. They were amazing--easily the hit of the snow experience, not only for our California pansy kids, but even for the hardcore Utah kids who were tired of cold wet hands when making snowballs.
Aunt Sarah and Maggie.
Bracken having a cute moment with William.
Brigham, Owen and Matt, reveling in the joys of the perfect snowball. Seriously--these snowballs were awesome. Perfectly shaped, never too hard, exploded on impact, and could be easily made out of any kind of snow.
Addie had fun playing with the dog toys.
More Bracken and William.
Cute sister Katie.
Me and Katie. Loving my bangs.

Your bangs are super fabulous... SUPER fabulous. Face it, you're a hot mama.
How fun to see your family all together - and your bangs seriously look cute! But then...you pretty much hardly ever don't look cute!
